so here she is... sittin there all empty insides. been spending every weekend for the last couple months prepping a 1.8 from a '94 to drop in my '92 after blowing out the clutch in aprilish. It's been a long time comin, but its movin' along. hope to have this sucker running in august ready for some auto-x, complete with a torsen lsd, new clutch, stiffer mounts, properly rerouted coolant sys, and no leaks!

more traction for the miata

yay! my first post :)

so i finally sourced a limited slip differential for the miata. this one is a torsen type LSD with 4.10:1 gears pulled from a 96 with somewhere close to 130k miles on it. i've read a lot of positive things about these mechanical LSD as opposed to the expensive clutch type LSDs and am looking forward to seeing how the miata handles with it on the track. gonna try to get her under the car sometime before next saturday's streets of willow event (hah... we'll see if that actually happens).

i've also got a newish oem hood coming to replace the ravaged one that's currently attached to the miata. happy days :)

thanks for all of you who joined the buttonwillow event. I know you all had a blast but just want to say a special congrats to all of you guys. You guys performed amazingly for being your first or second time out on the track.

if you guys are anything like me, you've thought about what areas you should have performed better on the track, where you should have slowed down or tried a new line.....this is perfect for when we go to driving clinic!!!
